1. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are granted only under the following verified circumstances, in compliance with international consumer protection and payment processor guidelines:

  • Defective or Damaged Products: Must be reported within 7 days of delivery with valid photographic proof.
  • Non-Delivery: If confirmed undelivered within the maximum expected timeframe (excluding customs or force majeure delays). Track your order at https://www.teatapee.com/shipment-tracking.
  • Wrong Item Received: Notify us within 7 days with photographs; we will issue a return label or correction instructions.
  • Legitimate Product Defect: Supported by valid evidence from our quality control inspection team.

All refunds require a verified claim and pre-authorization by our customer service department.


2. Non-Refundable Conditions

  • Change of Mind: Buyer’s remorse or personal reconsideration is not eligible for refund.
  • Customer Error: Incorrect size, address, or product choice made by the buyer.
  • Used or Altered Goods: Opened packaging or tampered seals invalidate refund eligibility.
  • Customs Refusal: Orders retained due to unpaid duties or failure to provide required import documentation.
  • Special/Promotional Sales: Items explicitly marked as “Final Sale” or “Clearance” are ineligible.
  • Shipping & Processing Fees: All shipping and payment processor fees (Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Omise, 2C2P) are non-refundable.

Important: Refund amounts exclude shipping and gateway transaction fees as these are non-recoverable merchant processing charges in compliance with PCI-DSS and international card network policies.


3. Refund Request Process

All refunds are processed securely to the original payment method. Refund timeframes depend on your bank or payment provider.


4. Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be approved when:

  • Products have minor packaging issues but remain fully functional.
  • A resolution is mutually negotiated with the customer.

Partial refund amounts are determined by TeaTapee.com’s quality control team and exclude transaction, shipping, and handling charges.


5. Payment Dispute & Chargeback Policy

Zero Tolerance for Fraudulent Chargebacks. Filing a chargeback after receiving your goods or without notifying us first may constitute first-party fraud.

Before submitting any chargeback dispute, customers must contact TeaTapee.com directly. We promptly investigate and resolve valid issues in good faith.

  • Chargebacks filed without prior communication will void refund eligibility.
  • Fraudulent chargebacks will be defended with documented proof (delivery, IP data, communication logs).
  • Repeat offenders may be reported to card networks, payment processors, and fraud databases.

All transactions are logged, verified, and compliant with PCI-DSS data handling laws across the US, UK, and Thailand.


6. Refund Timeline

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 7–14 business days
  • PayPal or Payment Gateways: 5–10 business days
  • Thai Local Payments (Omise, 2C2P, PromptPay): 5–10 business days
